Mkomazi National Park is one of the hidden national parks in Tanzania. The park is in north Tanzania below the slopes of the Usambara Mountains, Mkomazi extends to Tsavo National Park in Kenya. In recent years population of animals in the park has been so great, as the rate of poaching activities went down, and the conservation being the priority of the park to restore its natural beauty was lost due to poaching and illegal cutting down of trees for different purposes. Mkomazi National Park is famously known for the higher population of endangered species like rhinos and Wild dogs that can be found in the park as well as in Sanctuary areas within or near the park.
